Swiss Peace Symposium 2020

Yesterday, DaN Basel was invited to the Swiss Peace Symposium 2020 and awarded the Swiss Peace Award 2020. It was a successful event with excellent contributions from the speakers on the topic of peaceful coexistence between cultures and religions. We had the opportunity to meet many interesting people and had very good discussions. Receiving this award has shown us how much our support for people in need is appreciated. It is particularly special to receive this honour from the Ahmadiyya Muslim Jamaat Switzerland, as this community is committed to providing humanitarian aid around the world, and we are united by the fundamental principles of humanity and tolerance. This is also reflected in their slogan, ‘Love for all, hatred for none’. 

We would like to express our profound thanks once again for this award and hope to continue working with Ahmadiyya in the future to help people in need and to contribute to mediating between cultures and religions in order to find a common path to peace.
