For people who need clothes
The clothing hand-out takes place weekly. People in need find well-kept clothes, shoes, fabrics, bed linen and accessories here. Everything is bought for a symbolic amount. It is not only about fabric but about dignity: being able to dress yourself and your children without having to ask.

Donate clothes
We are accepting clothing donations again. Bring them on Montag between 08.30 – 16.30 to Birsstrasse 58. Please arrange larger quantities in advance – we can also collect them from you.
For the whole family
We carry clothes from babywear through children and teenagers to women and men – explicitly including plus sizes. Anyone who finds nothing that fits elsewhere may well find it here.

The team
The boutique is run by Carola Schaeppi, supported by Jrene and Ramona.
Working with us
We offer unemployed people, welfare and disability benefit recipients, asylum seekers and others the chance to work with us voluntarily but reliably. That strengthens self-confidence and fosters dignity and mutual respect. We welcome applications to volunteer in the boutique.
Special events
Throughout the year the boutique holds special events to make shopping there a richer experience. During the Basler Herbstmesse, for instance, a wheel of fortune offers percentage discounts on your shopping – and a blank ticket still comes with a consolation prize.
